Perry Elementary School

Although most days it feels like we just started our summer break, we are quickly gearing up for another school year. We are excited to see all of you in the next few weeks, so wanted to share some information about the start of the school year!

 

We are not sending teacher postcards this year with teacher names. Instead, all class assignments will be shared through a ParentSquare message on Friday August 1 at 8am. If you do not receive your class assignment on Friday in ParentSquare, please contact Ms. Perez in the office. If you have questions about your child's class assignment, please contact Mrs. Skeel.

 

We are excited to welcome Mr. Adam Tjeerdsma to Perry Elementary as an Associate Principal. Mr. Tjeerdsma joins Mrs. Skeel and Mrs. Rinker and will work together supporting all of our wonderful students and staff. Mr. Tjeerdsma comes to Perry from Dallas Center Grimes and is looking forward to getting to know each of our Perry Elementary families.

 

This summer construction has been busy building two beautiful new playgrounds at PES! The work is scheduled to be complete around August 15, just in time for the new school year! Come check out the new playgrounds when you visit for Open House on August 20! PEP will be partnering with Swoops 'n Scoops for their first fundraiser of the year so that they can continue to support our teachers and classrooms.
